Creating Your Own “Rules”

One thing that most dating experts agree on is that you need to know what you are looking for before you actually start looking for someone to date. Instead of simply logging on to dating Web sites and browsing to find someone “interesting,” you should have a relatively good idea of what you are looking for in a potential mate. Create a set of rules that — although somewhat flexible — signify what you need and what you will not accept. The reason these rules need to be somewhat flexible is that sometimes people aren’t entirely sure of what they will absolutely not accept and what they absolutely need until they meet the love of their life.
